August 19th, 11:30am: “Step-by-step: Scaffolding information literacy skill development into any course” by Jenny Dale

Information literacy is a set of skills related to finding, understanding, and using information that is critical for navigating living and learning in a digital age. This webinar will provide examples of class activities and low-stakes assignments that will help students develop information literacy skills and can be integrated into nearly any instructional context. Examples of modeling strategies to use within your teaching will also be shared, and participants will leave with ideas they can implement into their teaching immediately.
