Embedding Google Slides in Canvas

"Embedding Google Slides in Canvas" by Susie Boles, UNCG Online ITC

Embedding Google Slides presentations in Canvas courses offers many benefits to instructors and students. In this session, you can expect to learn:

  • Why embedding Google Slides presentations may be a preferable alternative to uploading PowerPoint presentations to Canvas,
  • Steps for publishing Google Slides presentations so updates are shown instantly,
  • Steps for embedding Google Slides presentations into a Canvas page, and
  • Accessibility and design features to consider when creating Google Slides to embed.

Examples will be shown of various uses of embedded Google Slides, ranging from a tutorial, to brief lectures, to case studies. This webinar series is for UNCG faculty, instructors, librarians, graduate students, TAs and staff. Digitalia: ebooks and Streaming Film

"Digitalia: ebooks and streaming film" by Christine Fischer and Mark Schumacher, University Libraries

Join us to learn more about two products by Digitalia. Offering ebooks and ejournals, Digitalia Hispánica is a database of Spanish language resources covering a broad range of disciplines. Streaming video is provided in Digitalia Film Library with hundreds of Spanish and Portuguese language films and documentaries, as well as French, Russian, Italian and North American cinema. The webinars are for UNC Greensboro students, staff, faculty, instructors and librarians. Each session is 30 minutes in length and will be hosted in Webex Meetings.
