Canvas Assignments: Create, Configure, and Grade

This workshop will take a closer look at assignments in Canvas. We will review the process of creating a new assignment, configuring assignment options, editing assignment settings, and managing assignment access. We’ll also discuss how the Assignments Index Page (Assignments in Course Navigation) connects with the Canvas Gradebook. Quiz (Classic & New) creation and configuration is beyond the scope of this training session due to nuance in these item types, which are most responsibly discussed in consultation.

This 90-minute session will include a 30 to 45-minute demo/presentation followed by dedicated time for individualized support from ITS Learning Technology staff.
