Play Chess, Not Checkers: How to Leverage Canvas’ Accessibility Checkers and Understand their Limits

This session is intended to be an introduction to the Accessibility Checker tools currently available in Canvas: the Rich Content Editor Accessibility Checker and UDOIT Cloud. Inevitably, course and content specific questions will arise, so plan to join us after the session for virtual drop in hours with the Instructional Design team from 1-3 PM.
During this initial session, we will review:
- General considerations for using accessibility checker tools
- Quick overview of accessibility checkers in Canvas, how they compare with each other, and how to use them strategically
- Basic demo of Rich Content Editor (RCE) Accessibility Checker
- Basic demo of UDOIT Cloud Accessibility Checker
