Cooking with Fats with Cari Culp, RD

In this class, Cari covers everything you need to know about cooking with fats and staying heart healthy. What are fats, what are the healthy fats, why we need them, recommendations for fats, how to incorporate them into your eating plan, and the best fats for cooking.

Presented by registered dietitian, Cari Culp

Upon registration you will be asked to submit your BCBS subscriber id #. This is a free workshop provided by Cari Culp and is a contracted service through the State Health Plan. The workshop is open to those with SHP insurance and their families. Subscriber ID is needed, but you will not be charged a copay for the service. Preventative services, such as this, are covered at 100% regardless of plan. If you have any questions, don’t have BCBS, or prefer to provide another way, please contact us at healthy_uncg@uncg.edu
Attendance is required in order to receive followup materials and slides.
