Designing Your Online Course Workshop (Online)

October 5 - October 19

You are invited to participate in the “Designing Your Online Course” virtual workshop at UNCG, which will be facilitated by certified Quality Matters instructor Joy Pine-Thomas. It will be offered asynchronously, from Tuesday 10/05/2021 to Tuesday 10/19/2021.

UNCG Online has organized this workshop free for faculty and staff.

You will be able to pick up your materials at a designated place on campus prior to the date of the workshop.

This workshop counts towards the continuing professional development requirement for online instructors. A digital certificate of completion will be provided from Quality Matters.

Learning Objectives

After completing this workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Recognize the foundational concepts of Quality Matters.
  2. Apply the essential QM Rubric Specific Review Standards to online course design.
  3. Discuss the structure to be used for organizing your online course.
  4. Create a course plan for developing your online course.
  5. Align one module for development.
