Improving Your Online Course Workshop (Virtual)

You are invited to participate in this face-to-face workshop, which will be taught by certified Quality Matters instructor Kisha Carmichael-Motley. It will be offered 9:00 am–12:00 pm on Thursday 09/23/2021.

UNCG Online has organized this workshop free for faculty and staff. This workshop would normally cost $200 per person.

You will be able to pick up your materials at a designated place on campus prior to the date of the workshop.

This workshop counts towards the continuing professional development requirement for online instructors. A digital certificate of completion will be provided from Quality Matters.

Learning Objectives

After completing this workshop, you will be able to:

  1. Recognize the foundational concepts of Quality Matters.
  2. Apply the essential Specific Review Standards of the Quality Matters Rubric to your own online course.
  3. Describe the alignment of at least one module/unit in your online course.
  4. Prioritize improvements to your online course.
