Lunch and Learn: Hate does not discriminate: Preventing and responding to bias and hate at UNCG

Join Brian Daniel from the Dean of Students Office as he facilitates an interactive workshop about the the role of bias and hate on college campuses. Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome to attend!  The first 20 participants who RSVP will receive a free, catered lunch.  Participants who attend this session will:

• Review principles and trends of bias and hate;
• differentiate between bias incidents and hate crimes;
• learn about the Erase Hate campaign and the bias reporting form at UNCG; and,
• identify ways to enhance student belonging by working to erase hate at UNCG and beyond.
