Meet “Microsoft Education”: Scheduling Classes using Teams Meetings in Canvas

Your ability to schedule class meetings directly in Canvas has returned using the new M365 Education LTI tool!  While the Microsoft Education tool contains multiple apps, today we will focus on the Teams Meetings app and how you can use it to manage class scheduling and recordings management within your Canvas shell.

We’ll cover:

• Enabling Microsoft Education in Course Navigation
• Turning on the Microsoft Teams Meeting app
• Scheduling Class Meetings
• Various setup options and impacts on students’ meeting visibility and recording access
• Special considerations for guest speakers, cancelling meetings, etc.
