Learn how to efficiently navigate and leverage Cayuse Fund Manager for sponsored projects financial oversight.
Cayuse Fund Manager is designed for PIs and research administrators to track multi-year awards, monitor budgets and review transactions for sponsored projects. UNC Greensboro has implemented Fund Manager to assist with financial management. Financial data will be available within the Cayuse suite of products, providing expense forecasting and automating some reports to ensure compliance across research funds.
Key Features and Benefits include:
- Budget & Expense Tracking: Provides visibility into project balances, allowing for accurate burn rate calculations, forecasting, and “what-if” scenario planning.
- Streamlined Reporting: Generates detailed transaction listings to avoid manual spreadsheet consolidation.
- Compliance & Efficiency: Reduces administrative effort by tracking, analyzing, and reporting on funding, aiding in the identification of unallowable charges.
- Communication: Uses standard contracts and grants terminology, making it user-friendly for PIs and departmental research administrators.

- If you are able to login, but are unable to see anything once you are logged in, it is an issue with your Banner Finance Access. What you have access to in Banner Finance is what you will see in Cayuse Fund Manager.
