Open Educational Resources (OER) can be any type of material or resource used for teaching available in the public domain that is free to use and/or alter; OER is usually used to eliminate a textbook or course materials in your course to save your students money. Come to this presentation from UNCG Libraries and UNCG Online on an introduction to OER, including what services UNCG Libraries and UNCG Online can support and how to apply for and win a $1000 stipend to eliminate a textbook in your course.
