All good students do some sort of note taking.  But not all good students take good notes!

Ask yourself:

• Do you sometimes struggle to keep up with the professor when taking notes in class?
• Do you wish your notes looked as good as your classmates’?
• Do you want to learn some new note taking techniques?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop may be a good choice for you!   In under an hour, the Academic Achievement Center will demonstrate techniques and strategies that can help you improve your note taking, and give you the opportunity to practice and get feedback.

Participants in this session will identify the purpose of note taking, practice three different note taking methods, and learn different strategies for using their notes as study tools.
