In this virtual workshop, we will spend time exploring how distress impacts our students both academically and personally. We will look at data and trends regarding student distress then spend times discussing supports and resources available to UNCG students who may be in distress.
Learning Outcomes:
- Be able to recognize and distinguish between eustress and distress
- Learn to identify signs of distress and how it impacts students academically and personally
- Report a higher level of confidence about supporting a student in distress
- Be able to identify university resources available to support students in distress
