UNCG Libraries presents a webinar series on “Research and Applications.”  This webinar series is for UNCG students, staff, faculty, instructors, and librarians.  The series will cover topics on library resources and research tools.  These webinars are all 30 minutes and are hosted in Zoom.  Once participants sign up, they will get an email with link to the session the day of the webinar. If you cannot make the live session, an email with the recording will be emailed out to participants.

November 17th, 12pm: “Getting Started with GIS” by Jo Klein

Geographic information systems (GIS) technology can be used to strengthen research and explore geospatial “space and place.” In this webinar, we’ll learn more about what GIS is, how it’s used in research and teaching across disciplines, what tools are available to you at UNCG, and what you can do to get started.
