If you’re involved in academic research, publishing, and sharing, you have likely already encountered the open movement – open access, open science, open peer review, open education, and more. But what does “open” mean in these contexts, and how can it impact your research, scholarship, and career? In this session we’ll talk about the different types of “open” that may impact and benefit you, and we’ll discuss the support services that UNCG offers in these areas. Whether you’re completely new to open access or you’re already familiar and you want to learn about open funding options and other opportunities, this session is for you.
