The session will also show UpToDate content and features.  UNCG has UpToDate access for all current students and employees with an iSpartan account\, with institutional access funded until May 2028.  While UpToDate summaries are written by physicians and other health care professionals\, this database is not intended as a replacement for care and advice from one’s own health care provider.\n\n\n\nSign Up

DESCRIPTION:Not all data sources are the same\, and using the wrong one can lead to confusion—or worse\, bad decisions. This session breaks down the key data systems at UNCG\, including Banner\, ODS\, UNC Data Mart\, the Data Lake\, and others. We’ll cover how data gets entered\, where it flows\, and when to use each source.  We’ll also explore at a high level the reporting tools used to access and visualize data from different sources. \n\nUnderstand how data moves into and out of data sources used for reporting.\nUnderstand the distinction between operational and official data sources.\nRecognize that metrics can have multiple valid answers and learn when to use each.\nIdentify the key reporting tools available on campus and their best use cases.
