This session breaks down the key data systems at UNCG\, including Banner\, ODS\, UNC Data Mart\, the Data Lake\, and others. We’ll cover how data gets entered\, where it flows\, and when to use each source.  We’ll also explore at a high level the reporting tools used to access and visualize data from different sources. \n\nUnderstand how data moves into and out of data sources used for reporting.\nUnderstand the distinction between operational and official data sources.\nRecognize that metrics can have multiple valid answers and learn when to use each.\nIdentify the key reporting tools available on campus and their best use cases.
