SUMMARY:Departmental Tech Inventory Spreadsheet Training
DESCRIPTION:UNCG is subject to increased accountability for technology devices in use in departments. Laptops\, desktops and tablets must be tracked to accountable individuals. \nThis begins with departments using a standard excel spreadsheet that will be the basis for updating ITS’s central asset tracking of laptops\, desktops and tablets.\nAll departments must have a standard excel spreadsheet prior to ITS “True Up” visits\, which will begin in late Fall 23 and proceed through the Spring 24 and Summer 24. \nThis workshop is to teach departments how to complete the required standard excel spreadsheet. \nBy attending this training and completing the standard spreadsheet for your department you can help your department plan for the upcoming Windows 11 Migration. https://go.uncg.edu/win11 \nInformation about True Up visits is communicated during quarterly Departmental Technology Coordinator (DTC) meetings and via the DTC Email Distribution list.\nDepartmental Technology Support (DTS) individuals will also receive notice about True Ups. \nIf you are unsure if your department has a DTC\, or have questions about True Ups please contact mtsmith@uncg.edu.
