DESCRIPTION:Spring Cleaning to Enhance Accessibility is a workshop series curated to support and streamline your accessibility efforts. The ITS: Learning Technology team will share actionable strategies for decluttering your Canvas course\, polishing your Microsoft files and deep cleaning your UDOIT report. You’ll be ready to copy your Canvas course each semester with confidence. The workshop format will be 30 minutes of presentation\, followed by an optional 2 hours of drop-in instructional technology support. Join us for any or all sessions in this series. \nDid you know Microsoft Word and PowerPoint have built-in accessibility checkers? In this workshop we’ll demo where to find these tools\, how to use them\, and strategies for exporting your files to other formats while preserving accessibility features. \nLeave this session with: \n\nKnowledge of how to access and navigate built-in accessibility checkers in MS Word and PowerPoint\nThe ability to review and fix common accessibility issues in Word documents and PowerPoint presentations\nA workflow for reviewing and updating MS files in your Canvas courses
