AI at UNCG – Get Up and Running

This workshop provides an introduction to artificial intelligence at UNCG and helps participants understand the tools, opportunities, and responsibilities that come with using AI in their work. Attendees will learn how to access approved AI tools, explore practical use cases for teaching, learning, research, and administrative tasks, and understand when it may be beneficial to involve ITS in evaluating or implementing AI solutions. The session will also provide an overview of the AI landscape at UNCG, including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and others, along with guidance on security, data protection, and responsible use. Participants will leave with a better understanding of available AI resources and know where to find additional training, support, and learning opportunities.
