This class will introduce you to SAS, a system used widely in academia and business for data management and statistical analysis. Topics include a tour of the SAS interface options, training resources and certification.  Also a discussion of whether SAS, SPSS, or another statistical application might be best for you.

This workshop is geared toward

1 – students who are using SAS in a class and what to know a little more about the application than the class instructor has time to cover

2 – students interested in SAS certification who want to know more about SAS training resources

3 – faculty and staff who want a refresher or to know more about what SAS does.

SAS is a powerful but complex application, you could not possibly learn SAS programming in less than 2 hours.  But there are vast free resources available to UNCG students, faculty and staff who do want to learn more.  This class is a brief starting point.
