In collaboration with VisionPoint Marketing, the University is providing you with web content training. This training is required and will be delivered in three tiers. This is Tier One.

 This training session will cover:

• How to audit your content.
• How to identify your pages (in NGWP site and in current site).
• How to scrape content into a new Google Doc.
• How to review content in the context of improving its effectiveness?
  • Are you covering all the info you need the audience to know on this page?
  • Is all the information accurate? 
  • What else do you need to say considering the target audience- prospective students?
  • What should you move elsewhere because it’s redundant or irrelevant to the audience?
  • Does this page content further draw the target audience to a goal you have set for this page, i.e. want them to request more information?
  • Image alternative text.
  • Metadata description tips.
